Message from Pastor Mark

It's 2008 and what will be do with this year?

I'm thinking about what we should do with a new year and that causes me to reflect about the year before. 

~Memories of wonderful times with my family and friends....

~Memories of opportunities that we took and others we missed....

~Memories of trials and heartaches and the lessons learned....

All these things make me think more about how to live in 2008.  I don't want to miss any opportunities that are brought into my life.  I want to make more memories with my family and friends that are good to reflect on, but most of all, I want to look back at 2008 when it's over and know that I practiced better living from the lessons I learned from the year before this one.

My prayer for myself is:

Our Father, please help me to be more of what you can use for Your glory and be a man that my family and friends would be honored to call their husband, dad, son, uncle, friend, and grandfather!  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

So here we go - let's do this right!
